This year’s theme, “Mobility for All,” emphasizes the importance of ensuring accessible and safe transportation for all citizens, regardless of income, location, gender, or ability. Bologna: a rich program of events

In Bologna and the metropolitan area, European Mobility Week is promoted by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City, with the organization of the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation. After being recognized in 2024 as the best European Mobility Week of the year, Bologna continues its commitment with a participatory program that actively involves the local community.

A packed calendar

The calendar includes events throughout the city and the metropolitan area, culminating on Sunday, September 21st, with the “Mobility Village” at Montagnola Park. This day will feature exhibitions, hands-on activities, meeting opportunities, and a bicycle auction. Cesena: transforming parking lots into social spaces

The Municipality of Cesena is participating in European Mobility Week with an event in Piazzale Aldo Moro on September 20, 2025. The administration invites local associations, institutions, businesses, and professionals to submit innovative proposals to temporarily transform parking areas into places for discussion, socializing, and participation, in line with the “Parking Day” campaign promoted by FIAB. This event was widely attended throughout Italy, with 66 cities and organizations registering (Registrations in Italy), and in Europe, where 36 countries are participating (Registrations in Europe).
